I guess the purchase contract counts as the decisive date for the application, or what do you think? Our building application for the conversion of an existing property will go out this month, but I think we can still postpone the actual purchase long enough (buying within the family).

I don't know what you sometimes expect from this forum. It's all speculation when it comes to new laws.

It could also be that this subsidy only comes in 2019. and then?

Car toll was supposed to come in 2016, now according to media reports it's already 2021

The crystal ball is currently unpredictable.

I basically agree with you that senseless speculations are pointless. However, in my opinion, there is a difference between asking "I have to have signed my purchase contract by 27.6.2018 at the latest, do you think the law will be passed by then and I should wait?" or asking something as I have done. Because here, one can present reasoned opinions, e.g. "I also think that the purchase contract will be decisive since the subsidy is available for new and existing properties and, in my opinion, there is no reason why the building application should count."

But with such nice weather, we don’t want to argue and just hope that we’ll get new information soon.
