If it is like that with the application, the whole thing is quite a gamble, because you don't know how long it will take until approval. If it takes a long time, fine; if short, that could be a problem. After the application is approved, the system must be installed within 9 months according to BAFA. If BAFA approves it within 1-2 months (which is unknown), and the construction time is 6 months, you have a total of 8 months from the application date. If you submit the application before the contract, construction must start soon to avoid exceeding the 9 months. That is not possible with any general contractor we have spoken to; all have at least a 6-month waiting time after signing. Above all, according to BAFA, a project-related offer and a separate calculation of the annual performance factor must also be submitted. For systems with improved system efficiency, a simulation of the system's annual performance factor must be submitted. These things were not available from anyone before signing.
