Are you building with a general contractor on your property with a building permit? If yes, then you must include the building permit. That is the only proof that shows you are authorized from 01.01.18. If you bought an existing property, you don't need the building permit. The notarized contract applies there. With a developer as well, including the contract for work as far as I know.

I built on existing land under my own management. I have now read through the current information sheet completely again.

Quote:
"The KfW is entitled to request additional documents (for example notarized purchase contract or building permit/building notice) as proof of compliance with the funding conditions."

During the upload, definitely no building permit was required. Maybe that was the case in the past, but not currently.

So, the money from the Bavarian home ownership grant was transferred to the account today. Submission of the documents was on 04.10.19. Thus, the processing time is currently almost 4 months.

The notification should still arrive by post, the "bayrische" Baukindergeld was not transferred along with it, but should still come!

I "hate" the Baukindergeld.... We moved into our new build last May and are expecting a child in the middle of the year. Unfortunately, the child was not yet born when we moved in and there is no subsidy. However, our better-off neighbors receive it because they had a child before the construction...

That's just how the funding conditions are. I find the rough annual gross limit of €135k with 2 children a joke anyway. We're talking about roughly €6500 net monthly, if I remember correctly. No one really needs the Baukindergeld here. I don't, and you probably don't either. We would have built anyway, right? But of course, it's more useful to have it. I signed the financing in 01/2018 and started the thread here in 02/2018 hoping it would even come. That it ended up being €40k was pure coincidence due to the federal and state election giveaways. If those points had been finalized last, there would have been nothing. It's like with the parental allowance cutoff date back then.
