I consider 2.5 years sufficient to complete planning and construction. Construction starts with us in October and moving in is in February.

If it proves successful, the program may possibly be extended.

The registration confirmation probably has to be attached to the application to prevent abuse.

Don't say that so loud. 3 months of planning. 9 months of waiting until the general contractor schedules you. 9-12 months of building. And suddenly almost 2 whole years have passed. There are also people who build solidly, which takes a little longer.

Yes, okay, it could definitely be a bit tight. We are also building massively, the. Construction time is exactly 3 months plus the frost month.

Unless someone proclaims the extension of the Baukindergeld during the federal election campaign, it will die afterwards. It is and remains useless, it was an election gift and that’s it.

From a procedural perspective, this is even understandable. Only complete applications are processed. And that the registration confirmation is required has long been known. Namely, since it became clear that it will only be granted for owner-occupied properties. But yes, this also reduces the number of applications. This shows once again what kind of backroom dealings are going on and that the whole thing is worthless as long as the ink is not dry.
