Re-registering from the move-in date. Obviously, you have to live there. The building authority has nothing to do with that. They receive the building completion notification and, if already available, the surveyor data from the house measurement for their cadastre. They only carry out inspections in cases of suspicion. Sure, a move-in can perhaps also be provisional, and then the question arises about verification by the [Einwohnermeldeamt].

No, a move-in cannot take place provisionally. A move-in is a move-in. If I live there, I have moved in there. Living means having a center of life.

Yes, it is completely clear to me legally, that was not what I was concerned about... The same question arose back then with the homeowner allowance and the deadline expiration as well.

By the way, I have now written to the KfW and asked for exact information regarding the estimated funding amounts, because various figures are circulating on the internet. If I receive a response, I will share it with you.

Currently, however, there is also the statement that the budget is released on an annual basis. This means that the 2019 budget, for example, may be exhausted as of July 2019, but the fund will be replenished again from January 2020. Those who move in between July and September 2019 would then be out of luck.
