I don't think it's right to consider 116sqm as a practical standard, we're not talking about luxury.. you also have to think further, narrow winding stairs, no basement, no storage space, .. no terrace? That also counts as living space, many have it nicer in their apartments. You do know that they offer different house sizes, right? Floor slabs always look tiny, have you ever stood inside a finished one? I find the room sizes completely normal. Only in the center of the ground floor is it a bit dark, but I’m also sensitive about that and I see such areas in almost all houses I know. It could be better in a finished house with a side window, I don’t know. There’s no need to argue about the look. They’re not incredibly beautiful, but in my opinion, that applies to many new buildings, too.

I do know that. They go up to 145 sqm. Then you have 50 sqm per floor. That’s three stacked 1-2 room apartments. I’d say, they squeeze the maximum room size out of the constraint to build on as small a footprint as possible. For that, you get lots of stairs, narrow dark little corridors, slanting ceilings.

They call their projects "residential parks." You can leave it at that.
