Wait with the building application because of the child construction allowance

I don't have to pay daycare fees anymore from September. The last year is free of charge. Finally, the madness is over. At the peak time when both were in the crib, it was almost €500

This is what we currently pay for 1 child.

In Lower Saxony free of charge from August 1st. We currently pay 700 euros per month plus meal fees for the younger child (daycare). From autumn it would be 490 euros per month (kindergarten). Since this will continue for another three years until school enrollment, it will add up to a nice vacation on the AIDA.

Yes. But since daycare fees are a matter for the states, they either don't want to or can't manage to achieve this. At least you get part of it back as childcare costs from the tax office.

My wife received parental allowance for 8 months last year, I have it for 2 months this year, since we applied in 2019 and are moving in, the tax years 2017/2018 have to be used, does the parental allowance distort the income downwards? How is the decision made in these cases? Is there a regulation? Just luck?

I would much prefer not to have to pay thousands of euros in taxes from the family income every month. Then I would gladly finance childcare and a private school myself instead of being dependent on the disastrous Lower Saxony school system.
