I am currently realizing that the topic took 100 pages and almost 5 months from the initial spike of my attention to a "fixed" statement by the GroKo.

I would hold back on the excitement a bit. Kauder has commented on runtime, funding amount, and m2 limitation in the MoMa, but there is no statement on whether the income limit will be changed. There is no clear statement that it will remain as is, and that is suspicious.

The income limit was never really up for discussion. So I don’t think anything will come of that. Otherwise, everyone would make themselves completely ridiculous – but whatever. Elections are, at least for now, not next week.

I don’t worry about that anymore. Tomorrow the ordeal will be over, as the final budget review session will take place, and even if the SPD or the [BMF] should notice that a few million are missing, they won’t do anything about it anymore. The matter is settled! Next week (the last session week) the law will be set in motion in the final week.

I think that this very short application period will rather lead to further price increases and an even tougher competition for land and real estate (and then the ancillary purchase costs will also rise; I am mainly talking about the purchase of existing properties, where this then weighs all the more heavily), which will then immediately eat up the subsidy again. The brokers and owners also have this in mind and know that they might now be able to add another notch to the price. How do you see it?
