I read a budget of 400 million for 2018.

However, applications were only submitted for 82,865 children in 2018.
That means maximum spending of under 100 million.

That is almost one billion; with January, it is then the 1.x billion mentioned by Seehofer.

Around 1.5 billion of this amount is allocated to the Baukindergeld. According to calculations, the money is not sufficient for all potential applicants.
