I would rather call it Pot 2020. The budget release - if it actually is the case - is done on an annual basis, not on a quarterly basis. But yes. Everyone moving in from 10/02/2019 could then only submit the application in 2020. However, if a corresponding backlog wave occurs, the 2020 budget will probably be used up even earlier than already expected for 2019...

I believe the pot could also be increased if it actually runs out. But it won't, the income limit has been set relatively strictly. Many who fall below it cannot afford to build a house due to lack of equity. The [Kinderbaugeld] is conceptually to be understood as a repayment subsidy and does not improve the situation of those willing to build who are weak in equity. In the old federal states, it feels like most are above the income limit from the outset.

so regarding the income limit I think you are somewhat mistaken. We, with almost 2 children, have an exemption amount of 105k of taxable income. Since we already have one child, my wife only works part-time. And the person working full-time can already bring home a good salary and you are still below the exemption limit. This is also shown by the current figures for the applications already submitted.

Has anyone here already asked the responsible minister or similar how the whole thing is planned or how it is currently running? If I understand correctly, there are 3 scenarios and no one really knows which one will be applied: 1. a certain amount per year and when that is used up, there is nothing more that year 2. the entire sum just lasts until the money is gone... regardless of whether that is already this year or actually at the end of next year 3. every eligible person receives it until the end of 2020, money will be added if necessary Right?

Who among us will submit the application this year and when? Hopefully, we will move in by the end of July. So, application submission at the beginning of August.

The move is planned for the end of the year (Christmas...) The application will then be submitted at the last minute in December or only in January, depending on the situation.
