Really your personal problem. No one can be prevented from sending their child there, but it is more than socio-politically sensible not to promote such things; and it is also not necessary to have that in order for your own children to achieve something in their lives.

The problem is that public schools, at least in Lower Saxony, are really bad, despite booming tax revenues! Too few teachers, classes that are too large, lots of kids with learning difficulties, insufficient curricula in the STEM fields. Therefore, we practically feel forced to send our children to a private school by grade 7 at the latest so that they can achieve roughly the same educational level as their parents did 25 years ago in Saxony and Bavaria.

If we were to build now, we would receive €36,000 with 3 children, net mind you, a pile of wood. Unfortunately, we were too early and there is nothing. That really annoys me a lot.
