Wait with the building application because of the child construction allowance

Received confirmation half an hour ago that the application was accepted. It took almost 4 weeks in total. The first payment is at the end of April.

After I received an email from Bayernlabo on 28.12.2019 stating that the application for the Bavarian Baukindergeld+ and the home ownership allowance had been received and would take about 10 weeks to process, I received the positive decision today!

We finally managed to apply for the home ownership allowance and the Baukindergeld grant in Bavaria yesterday. Unfortunately, it is not as convenient online as with the KFW and you have to complete a PostIdent offline... I also had to request an extended registration confirmation from the municipality.

and wait a very long time I submitted my application shortly before Corona, and even then the processing times were already at 16 weeks...

I have unfortunately read/heard that many times already. We're not in a hurry with the money, the main thing is that it arrives.

Then we were probably lucky: Just received the confirmation, I had submitted it less than 2 weeks ago.

(Although, I am talking about [Baukindergeld], you about the [Eigenheimzulage], right?)
