Forrest Gump sends his regards!

Great! With labels! That way even the man can find the right herbs :)
Otherwise, just carry it into the kitchen by the handle :)

At first, I thought you meant an MMA cage

Are there also pictures without extreme wide-angle? That makes the rooms look unnaturally "wide."

I might put a putting green on the garage, maybe :D

The garden is my territory. That's also why I have reasons to buy new "toys." Soon, a battery spindle mower (Toro eFlex 2100 used) will be added. I am flexible with time and still under 40. So I can manage the garden well. A few days ago, I worked on the garage with 800kg of sand and spread it... For big projects, I might get some help.

The house itself is quite low-maintenance. There's not much lying around. Floors are cleaned with robot vacuum cleaners and a scrubber dryer (also the terrace). Nevertheless, we hired a 450€ employee.

The fitness area is currently mostly used by my wife for yoga and cardio. We swim almost every day. My buddies always ask how much membership costs with me since their gyms have been closed forever.

You’ll laugh. We’ve also thought about spreading a few greens and fairways in the garden. But only as decoration.
Here in the house, the man rather has the green thumb ;) and it’s too heavy to carry. But there are plenty of transport devices.
It’s quite practical when you can simply drive the pallets through the house with the pallet truck (solid rubber tires). In the garden, it works with the rider and trailer.

The cage is without wide angle. Without wide angle, you can’t fit the whole room in. If I remember correctly, the room is about 65m2.

*thumbsup* should not sound sexist either :)

tsk tsk ... and that despite the gym ...

The other day I thought – or maybe it was more hope – that my wife had taken a wide-angle shot of me. But (unfortunately) I was mistaken :(

Thank you all! Every day on the construction site, I feared that... As mentioned above, this would be our second time building. We will definitely not take the architect from the first time again... good design for our needs back then, but not future-proof (kids are now out of the house). Above all, he had no idea about construction management and the many small crucial details and was on the construction site far too infrequently. We have painfully learned that until today.

It will take a little longer. So far, there are many ideas in mind and a reserved plot of land. We are still in negotiations with the building authority because the development plan does not allow a flat roof, which is a must for us. I just received news today that, contrary to expectations, it looks good; it should definitely be decided within the next 2 weeks. It will almost certainly be concrete, since it has long been decided here that the first floor will protrude beyond the ground floor and this side (south slope) will be more or less completely glass. Outside either exposed concrete or white, we'll see.

When the time comes, I will start a new thread; the discussion here in the forum is great.

Thanks for the recommendation, unfortunately even further away from us than some architects in BW that we like.

Take a look at Karl Kaffenberger, he is based in Hesse and builds a lot in a cubic style, not everything is Bauhaus but the direction could fit.
