Can upload a picture over the weekend.
The ceilings are installed on two floors. Partially also the lamps, Aps, and presence detectors. The color shifts somewhat due to the protective film on the glass.

So here are a few examples

Some fixtures are still missing but the spots are installed.
The lamps are Bega 55924 (3K) + Bega 10520. The successor 24234 is already used in the pavilion.
The fitness room and garage get Bega 55930 (3K) + Bega 10530.
Personally, I like ceiling spots (if they are dimmable). In the dining area, there will also be a pendant lamp (Louis Poulsen Artichoke, 84cm, copper rose, DALI, 3000k).
In the living area, there will be a floor lamp (not chosen yet) and possibly some lamps on the sideboards. All lamps have 3000k. So already a "warmer light".

Had to reorder LAN cable again. Will lay about 100 meters over the weekend.
Today, first six lines into the distribution board.

is CAT8 with 2000MHz

CAT8, how many servers are in your data center?

Thanks for the photos and the information about the lights, very stylish. Did you get the Artichoke with Dim2Warm? How is it with the spots? They have a 3000k LED chip, but no D2W, right? Are the spots actually adjustable?

those are only the cables to the control cabinet
This is how it currently looks in the server cabinet. The rear side is still partially missing the equipment.

The Artichoke is only available in one LED version. But I have to admit that I can’t tell you if it has D2W.
The spots definitely don’t have it. They are also not adjustable. We simulated the whole thing in DIALux (with our furniture). It should only provide a certain basic lighting. With floor lamps etc., then the rest. We also tested the spots before. They are very pleasant. At least I don’t miss any D2W.

DALI or not depends on several factors. From a certain number of dimmable lighting circuits or RGB applications, it is simply cheaper. Then the wiring is partly easier because you just lay 5x1.5 and don't have to worry so much about cross-sections like with centrally laid 24V lighting, for example. And it is a bus, so you don’t have to wire the lighting circuits in a star topology (but you can with DALI if you want).

I find the setup and programming of lighting groups from several (or many) individual luminaires much more elegant with DALI than if you implement it purely with KNX. An example would be larger light coves or shadow gaps with many LED strips, which you can control much more easily and evenly with DALI. Additionally, there are also "real" DALI lamps that can be controlled very nicely this way. Ultimately, it also saves a lot of space in the distribution board because you don't have to cover everything with LED controllers (but that would also be possible with DALI if you want it central).

In a "normal" single-family house, you rarely find DALI because there simply usually aren't that many lights.

Yesterday was chaos day... Photovoltaics are still not connected to the grid but at least now we have electricity.
Pool builders, facade builders, and grinders have started work.

This is what the cast asphalt looks like. So far, only the covers for the floor tanks have been ground.
These will be filled again and then finely sanded/polished. It will then become even darker/stronger.
At least you can now see the grain size. Fortunately, there is more larger grain than expected
