I think it’s good that , "even without children," did not lose heart but "simply reached for the shelf and placed a Flair 08/15 on her property."

Calm down again.

That's exactly my point: rick2018 has no children, so at least let him have his house. Otherwise, I wish everyone their childless happiness, whether self-inflicted or determined by fate. Have I personally attacked anyone or tried to convince them to have children, or what is the point of the post, Climbee? I also never wrote that he should install a nursery or anything else, it would help if people read what is actually there, not what they imagine. What is the discussion supposed to lead to?... Childless people cannot even begin to imagine what it means to have children, and they don’t have to. If you can’t leave anything behind, you should just kick the bucket with a big pile of debt and live fully beforehand. That’s how I would do it, anyway.

To jump in here, uh, yes. Because children's evenings were almost always childless before the children actually arrived. I speak from personal experience. I personally appreciate both states. Life is not black and white.

... and aside from that, an involuntary decision against child(ren) can be infinitely painful. In this respect, the OP’s luxury cabin is especially well deserved right now.

Boom, right away a judgment again. Don't you even notice it?
