First request also went directly through the architect. Complaints included, for example, the location on the property. Please adhere to the building line from 1947 or something like that. Flat roof is not allowed, etc. I'll put it this way, I don’t know anyone here in the area who has built and didn’t have trouble with two specific people at the building authority or even had to fight for their rights in court. Probably a profile neurosis... Constructive talks could be held with the head of the office and the mayor. We were also able to justify it in terms of urban and development aspects (creating spaces, preserving spaces, etc.) Despite the size, it is rather a floating cube and fits in well.

Not my style, and way too big. I would take the pool and the pavilion
But I like to "look elsewhere" - thanks for posting!!

Yes, it is rather generous. Filling the garage is also a great hobby. Great style, but also way too big for me. The property would also be too big for me. Although with a gardener and cleaning staff (or facility manager), it works again.
Thanks for posting: You rarely see such large (private) projects for sure.

When I look at our punch list, we would easily reach 300 sqm, provided the rooms would continue to be spacious. However, our plan was for 4 people.

Hmm, hm ... it's not my style ... of course impressively large.

Maybe I'm blind, but I've been trying to figure out the whole time where the postman rings the bell 3 times at the house or the ordinary visitor. Has anyone discovered that?

Otherwise, exterior views are nice, but I live in the house and I always like to see the floor plan first. What you can guess through the windows is really all very spacious. I would miss cozier areas there.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s not too big? I love it!! We have now been living on our 285 sqm for 8 months and I would do so many things differently. Especially much bigger. Ok.. it’s also related to the fact that we would have a much bigger budget today. In my mind, I am already playing with the idea of building again.. unfortunately there are no more plots available. I have fallen in love with the location.

@TE: Are you building with a lift? I would definitely do that. A neighbor of ours is building with two lifts.. 1 for people, 1 for cars. Also a underground garage for more than 10 cars (hobby)..
