I grew up with four people in 85m2. No question about that.
Just like 120m2 works for five or six.
After moving several times, we currently live in 150m2 but poorly laid out. It is definitely too small for what we want.
This was not about what one absolutely needs but what one would like. I am sure that some would have built something different if the budget had been higher.
The house was not supposed to be that big but since my wife and I have different wishes, something was added.
You can live in something like that privately as a couple (which we will do).
My parents fulfilled their dream at 58. And that is even a bit bigger. It is really nice when family and friends meet once a week. You don’t always have to get side tables or chairs...
With a size like that, you have the choice to make yourself a slave to the house or you need a cleaning specialist.
The open floor plan and design are also perfect for robot vacuums.
Just the entire house and pool technology require a lot of space.
Sleeping, bathroom, and office each have 17.7x sqm. I don’t find that excessive.
The dressing room has 33.xx sqm.
The living, dining, and kitchen area is simply big.
The garage fits 8 cars plus bikes etc.
Guests are also happy when they can come into the house dry-footed in hail, snow, or rain.

No, we are not "party people." Of course, visitors come occasionally but no more than others. At the beginning, the pool is certainly a magnet, then it normalizes again. It’s like with every new house.
And what does my "job" have to do with that? My wife works normally. Otherwise, partying is for the weekend...

Of course, this makes me wonder whether you have also read the thread and accepted the criticism from it. My spontaneous association with your design is that this would have been the target condition for the house of . Are floor plans and sections also going to be added?

I suspect that a [Privatier] refers to rather non-working, wealthy private individuals. They would of course have more time and money for parties.

Have you ever met a retiree who has time
That defines a private investor as someone who is neither employed nor self-employed but has sufficient assets and/or generates income.
But I don’t know any private investor who just sits around; they only have different tasks. Certainly, you can manage your time better.

I had skimmed that thread once. But it was not interesting for us in terms of the floor plan. No children and such.
There are certainly a few things in our house that are considered wrong in the forum.
When I’m at home I can upload a few floor plans. Although I don’t yet have the very latest ones on my device.

What exactly did you request initially that led the building authority to reject everything? Or was it just too unprofessional for them without an architect’s stamp?

Considering the overall impression, any possible complaints about a not optimally placed dressing room door will be limited

Maybe it is enough when a retiree comes, since unfortunately the head of the building authority only has A14 himself
