Bauhaus concrete villa with core insulation - experiences

So it is a 0.3 meter cable and was included in the delivery of the USG-XG. I also couldn’t find it anywhere for purchase. Only everything from 0.5 meters.

Since I am currently dealing with SMI again in another project and in our planning... how do you solve the shading for the object? "Normal" KNX shutter actuators, KNX drives, or also SMI?

Knx blind actuators. However, the motors have position monitoring and in some places also sensors in the tracks. Part of the shading is cable-guided. We have screens as shading. For venetian blinds I might have considered SMI actuators.

I am following the thread with curiosity & interest* - thank you for the great project presentation.

But I have a question: probably I missed or overlooked it somewhere, but what wall construction did you finally choose and how did you solve the insulation? At some point you - if I remember correctly - wrote about wavering between prefabricated walls and in-situ concrete, or that they should no longer be core-insulated due to problems with installing the window elements.

I am also pondering in my (much smaller) residential basement construction whether we should go towards prefabricated walls with core insulation, or exactly what kind of perimeter insulation we should take.

*And yes, a little bit of envy too…

We mainly have precast concrete hollow core walls. The middle part is then backfilled on site. Insulation on the outside additionally. In the areas that are not underground, there is a ventilated facade made of aluminum combond in front of the insulation.
