OT: Had to look up "getriggert" first: This Anglicism describes the fact that a traumatized person can be emotionally reminded of the trauma by certain triggers and can be overwhelmed by corresponding feelings, such as panic, racing heart, paralysis, which are not appropriate to the current situation. Seriously? For clarification: I lovingly call a female person "Schnucki" to soften a statement like "You misunderstood the conversation." But noted that Buchweizen finds that annoying.

Gigs.de: The internet is known for how words often develop into trends or take on entirely new meanings. It’s easy to lose track and not understand what users mean with, for example, .... in the comments. “Triggered” is also such a word, which you especially find with a hashtag on Twitter or read in Facebook comments. The term can be interpreted in two ways. We explain to you where the difference lies.

“triggered:” Meaning and translation
When translated from English to German, the word means something like “ausgelöst” (triggered). A “trigger” is thus a cause or trigger. In modern internet jargon, the term is used when someone reacts angrily and hatefully to a post on a social network. At this moment, the person feels personally attacked and compelled to write a correspondingly emotional response due to their own inner attitude toward a post. Other users then comment on this with “triggered.” The word is also often used with a hashtag when someone simply wants to vent anger and frustration about a situation.

If my mother says "Nexflix" once again despite multiple corrections, …#triggered

— Absolute Giant (@Final_Truth_)

What does “to trigger” mean? Further interpretation
In contrast to the use of the word on the internet, there is the original meaning. In this case, a trigger is a psychological effect. Through different sensory impressions, especially traumatic, unpleasant feelings or experiences are brought up or “triggered” again. A trigger can be a place, sound, smell, or something similar. An example of this is often war returnees, who are reminded of their war experiences by loud noises and therefore suffer a breakdown or panic attack.

That doesn’t fit either. Here we don’t say Schnucki, but rather “Süße,” “Sweetheart,” or another pet name like “Hasi” and the like, to soften the truth a bit because it’s not meant badly.

The greeting "Friendship!" at the end had an ironic note, but 11ant was not joking: I tried to explain that the search for a "one size that fits all" is not necessary because the market "is enough" to bring together heterogeneous supply and heterogeneous demand. Therefore, there is no need for a "perfect absolute 08/15 universal."

Horst says "Schätzelein" (just so you know), or the Kölsche says "Liebeleinschen."

Hello everyone,
a quick update.
The boreholes for the geological soil investigation have been carried out. Two boreholes of 6 meters each. At one location, we encountered water. It is not yet clear whether this is precipitation water or groundwater. The borehole was converted into a groundwater measurement point. I believe it is groundwater since we also have a spring. However, the borehole near the spring was dry.
We are expected to receive the report on soil class and possible contamination next week.

We are in the final negotiations for the excavation and shell construction.
HLS, electrical, windows, pool, garage door, etc. have already been awarded.
The final 3D is attached.
Hopefully, we can start soon.
