I do not question that there can be good neighborliness despite very different houses, and my words are not meant to be an attack in any form. I also like to look at such buildings, but that is not my style at all (especially Bauhaus is really a matter of taste) and on top of that it stands out... that simply wouldn't be my thing regarding the appearance of the place. But that says nothing about the residents, except that they have a different view on it than I do.

I can very well imagine the daily retirees' meeting *laugh*

Even though we built on completely different scales, our house was also rather unusual and was much discussed. When we were at the construction site, we constantly had to answer questions, address the construction team – they were the only ones who had the courage.

But especially the wooden cellar was examined and discussed intensively ("will that really hold? Will it stay dry? I think it's great, but I would never do it"), which was sometimes really funny.

Yes, I am constantly asked how many apartments are being built there ops: ... The answer now is, there is a multi-generational house (so, us and the kids)

Meanwhile, the foundation for the pavilion is complete. The pavilion (concrete parts) itself will be erected tomorrow.
Yesterday, the window installers were there for the first time to check if everything fits. The carpenters were still busy with the beams.
Today is a big action day.
Promptly at 7 a.m., the three 40-ton trucks from the window installer arrived. Everything perfectly packaged.
Pure Swiss precision.
All the glass and the material for the frames were unloaded. Afterwards, the frame installation will begin. This alone will probably take 2-3 weeks.
In parallel, the last ceiling is being concreted. By 9 o’clock, 3 concrete mixers had already been processed.
Currently, part of the house has been scaffolded again. This makes it look more massive again.

This second picture with the drone looks so much like a toy. Wonderful. As if it is the new Lego Technic set that was quickly released before Christmas.
