At the end of this week, we were finally able to put up the retaining wall to the neighbor.

This will be filled from both sides.
At the beginning of the week, it was too windy, so it was postponed.
Since we had to lift the parts over the house and partly across the entire property, heavy equipment was needed.
It ended up being a 220-ton mobile crane

If the weather is good, the entire walls will be backfilled next week.
Inside, the HVAC installation continues. Drywall partitions are also partly up. The electrician has to come first here before we can finish sheathing them.

The garage door is already installed as well.

Overall, things are going quite well. At the end of February, progress will slow down a bit due to Fasnet.

What a crane. The retirees at the fence must have been really happy!

There were not many spectators. We had to secure the area properly (also partially the street). From further away, naturally some watched the spectacle. The crane was really impressive. There are probably only a few of that size in Germany.

Such cranes are simply a great show. That should be a Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1. I think your construction project is great and I am already looking forward to the first pictures with visible windows. Then the successful proportions will really come into effect.

Such a crane is really impressive. 15 years ago, I was allowed to do a factory tour at the crane plant at Liebherr. You can see the "normal" ones and also the really big ones for the wind turbines. Big toys!

Such a device is really impressive. We can only install the panes once the floor is inside. We are still considering when to sand it. Currently, I tend to have it done right away. I think we can install the glasses by the end of April.

Later, I'll drive to the construction site briefly to check if everything is reasonably secured for the storm..
