Great project. If I just imagine building in BW, the view, the large property, I really get jealous being near the Ruhr area. The house would be perfect for my better half. I prefer something a bit different, but I would take it too. I just wouldn’t feel like cleaning nearly 500 sqm, but that probably plays a minor role in this salary range. I'm really looking forward to pictures.

If you have a larger house with a garden, you are either a slave to your property or you have help. This is already the case with smaller houses. With robotic vacuum cleaners, you can reduce the effort somewhat. Without the opportunities mentioned above, we would never have come up with the idea to plan the current project this way.

Clearly, you become a slave to the house. A robot vacuum cleaner is really something nice. I find the quality of life in [BW] considerably more pleasant than here. But in [BW] we probably couldn't live salary-wise. The large property is a dream for me alone because we all sit so close to each other. Especially with less considerate neighbors, really annoying. With us, they only come out in the evening with all the children and it goes on until late at night... We were here before them, otherwise we wouldn't live here.

Then tell them that. Well-mannered people often project their own behavior onto others and think they do it on purpose – but often they just don't realize it. Constantly leading by example alone doesn't wear down the stone, sometimes you simply have to make a statement. That can of course initially start with "wouldn't it be nicer if" sentences.

Thanks for the tip, have been talking to them unsuccessfully for 4 years now. It works for a few days and then it’s forgotten. It’s just a completely different way of life. Our neighbors probably live in their original homeland more at night than during the day in summer and the work, or rather the lack of it, supports them quite well in this. But I don’t want to hijack this thread, I envy him for the great property - sigh
