We have an active cooling system and a high air exchange rate. That means the ventilation can also run when it is warmer outside. The air is already passively cooled when drawn in through the floor and is then actively cooled. We also live quite far south in the Black Forest at over 700 meters. I think the solar gain is similar. We can exchange the air in the house in under an hour. We can also ventilate by airing alone; on the ground floor we have two opposing glass elements, each 5 meters long. So 10 meters in a row can be opened. Due to the weight, this only works motorized now. And of course, there are also other standard opening options.

then it is fine. I think it's good if the supply air can be cooled.

How high are your rooms.

The kitchen looks great, but feels impractical for cooking.

The rooms will be finished with a height between 2.78 and 2.80.

For the kitchen, it would be more practical if the island were placed crosswise in front of the kitchen unit. The room or our ideas do not allow that.
It is planned according to workflow.
So the refrigerator is on the far right, then washing, cutting, preparing, cooking, etc.
The oven is also further to the right.
On the left, there is only a wine fridge that is rather needed from the living or dining room. Just like the coffee machine.
You can easily misjudge that. We were surprised how large such a 3.60-meter kitchen unit is.

Mine is not much smaller. You get full too.

[Weinschrank] is not really needed for preparation.

That is why the wine cabinet is also placed all the way to the left, as it has nothing to do with the normal kitchen workflow. With a lot of space, there is always the risk of collecting too much...
