Thanks for your contribution and your time to read through the entire thread. Sorry that you missed parts of the game ;) By definition, I am a private person. That means I do not have a fixed job and am not employed anywhere. But of course I pursue regular activities that bring in money directly or indirectly. The main tasks are, for example, shareholder activities in the group of companies, but also (private) investments and their monitoring, etc. I also have to take care of my mother. My days are very tightly scheduled. Rather less "free time" than if I had a 9-5 job. And not only Monday to Friday. But I like it as it is. I can imagine reporting on the progress similar to you, because other home builders of my kind will probably be able to take something from it. I still have a few technical questions for

Is asphalt laid everywhere? How did you do it on the bathroom wall? I think tiles with grout don’t really match the asphalt, so you probably had something different installed there. You don’t need to post a picture. The explanation of the wall construction is enough.

You have a saltwater pool, right? Have you noticed any changes or lack of growth in the surrounding grass? Saltwater attacks the soil.

Topic network: which simple and cost-effective cable installation do you recommend if you have fiber optic coming from the ground and then want to operate 5 LAN sockets in the house without KNX or any other control system.

the thread is huge so you probably haven't gone through it completely yet. In the bathrooms, we have a seamless system from the company Dold. Floor to wall is sealed with PU compound.

We do not have a saltwater pool, but chlorine. I also wrote the reasons. The water runs into the overflow. Nothing gets on the lawn. A few splashes do not affect the lawn. Neither with chlorine, salt, bromine... the concentration in a private pool is far too low. Proper planning is necessary for that...

I don't understand about the network. Do you have a fiber optic connection or is there already fiber optic throughout the house? In the first case, simply use an all-in-one box, e.g. FritzBox. Wire the house with CAT7 or CAT8 cables. Please plan one access point per floor.

Do you have an alternative or low-budget solution for the system from the company Dold? That seems too complicated and expensive to me. Something like: screw an OSB board to the wall, fill the seams with paint X and that will do.

There are certainly other manufacturers who offer such systems. Waterproofing is only needed in the shower and possibly behind the sinks. The rest, e.g. latex paint. In the shower, one could also use glass, aluminum, stone, etc.
