I surprisingly like the floor a lot - I was very skeptical at first. The ceiling is absolutely amazing, I have always liked it especially on this surface (I don't like it so much in small rooms), and I also really like the raw concrete walls! The sand - that's not really my thing. But I think it looks quite different in nature than it does here in the picture. What I really don't like at all are the kitchen cabinet fronts. They are too busy for me, especially against the concrete wall. Since I would showcase the concrete wall more, I would have deliberately chosen a very understated front there. Here I now get the feeling that two eyecatchers are competing for attention. But let's wait and see how it all looks when it's finished. So far, I have already experienced quite a few surprises here. The clock is simply AMAZING!

WOW doesn't find the floor bad. Would have bet anything that this wouldn't be the case even remotely.

The brightness of the kitchen front also changes depending on the light incidence. There is also a kitchen element hanging on the sand-colored wall. The color or pattern of the front is also reflected in the base of our floor lamp in the living room. Just like the walnut wood that repeats itself again and again. (Doors, table, kitchen bar edge...)

The eyecatchers are the clock in the kitchen and the lamp in the dining area.

I really think you can only judge this once the room is fully furnished. It's the same for us.

We also have the watch I quite like it very much, unfortunately it is now very widespread, also due to all the copies.

I was incredibly skeptical about the floor when you mentioned it for the first time, but it really looks good! I would prefer parquet in any situation, but for a "non-wood" floor... really great and in my opinion also more beautiful than tiles.

I often find the theft of intellectual property disrespectful. Moreover, the replicas usually do not have even half the quality and charisma. It's the same with Thonet chairs, Eames lounge chairs, or Cassina Maralunga, etc.
If the design is released, that's a different matter.

Yes, then I can also comment; so much keeps changing in these steps. Thanks to your many pictures and descriptions, I can guess where this is going and am sure the concept will work out.
