To my knowledge, panes nowadays are always filled with gas (not air). These are compensated for the pressure conditions at our sea level. It is specially decolorized glass with the appropriate protection class. So, not only a special manufacturing in terms of size. Of course, the entire pane (package) with the multiple glasses is replaced. Only the pane is positioned in the rear rail. Therefore, the front and movable element must also be removed for replacement.

Oh! I was confused because of the front/rear pane. I didn't realize there are two in two levels standing in front of each other.

Isn't the transport exciting then, when significantly different altitudes are passed through?

There are no photos of my place online
But compared to your glass, they would be boring anyway

I don't think so but understandable. How big is your glass? I know the glass manufacturer from the conversations. They make up to 16 meters.

2 questions:

- why are you so nice? Every woman who leaves you is damn stupid 8-)

- I’ll claim about myself: I am clean and nice, if I’m ever nearby, can I stay overnight in your guest room on short notice?

Thanks for the great input!!

I don’t know if I would have implied owning a particularly upscale object ... 200 sqm white little cube with some technical goodies, plastic windows as well as wood and exposed concrete accents.
The size of the glass area is in the living room. 3x2m facing south and coupled around the corner with another 4m facing west (lift-and-slide door).
One could arrogantly answer "10 meters!", but that would be a half-truth

what do you mean by nice? I try to adhere to general rules of behavior and decency. I also expect this from the person I’m dealing with. Sometimes a little kindness too. Good work should also be acknowledged. But I am certainly not “easy” to deal with, at least that’s what my wife says. Sorry Tumaa, we are not opening a guesthouse. Our house (like everyone else’s) is something very private. That means only family, close friends... will enter it. Acquaintances are already out. As soon as there is furniture and personal items in the house, the picturing will become more selective. I share this construction report because I also benefited from the forum. Usually such constructions are rather “kept under wraps.” It’s also good to see something different than the standard once in a while. Maybe one or the other detailed solution will prove helpful for someone in the forum. What is very positive is that almost no envy discussions have come up. It is not about promoting myself here. I have had/have a lot of luck in life and also some lows. So I know what priority has for me. We are looking forward to the house but we would not die if we had to stay in our current living situation. Once the monetary basic needs are covered, money should not be the number one priority. At least I get off the hook from the “forum meeting at my place” thing because of Corona, which developed such a momentum some time ago.
