Yes, exactly. Most stainless steel pools have that so it is a bit grippier. There are also nice reflections.

I also find the green squeaky duck cute!!!

How do you handle the green roof? That is still open for us as well (but due to empty coffers, it is being postponed for a few years). And we were told it’s better not in autumn, but in spring. However, the proposal for us was ready-made mats (which apparently look like egg cartons and already have everything in them, substrate and appropriate seeds). Therefore, I would be interested to know how you do it.

How warm is the pool by now?

Yes, only that it reflects so differently that it appears irregularly multicolored, I did not expect that.

The pool is currently not heated and is at just under 21°C. It will certainly cool down significantly in the next few days. We have different types of green roofs. As mentioned, we will have grass on the garage. This means significantly more substrate or soil (because of the grass) is needed. Here we also have irrigation and a robotic mower. The other roofs will receive a classic green roof. You can google the structure. Root barrier, drainage layer, etc. A vegetation-free zone all around. These finished mats are not a bad choice. A bit more expensive but significantly less effort. With us, everything has to be inflated using large silo vehicles.
