Yes, you can only really see more finished pictures clearly over 100. But the thread and especially the described project is definitely super interesting.

and how! I also find it extremely exciting to follow along.. but I think I will start around ~100 or skim through a bit... it really takes a week to read it all :D

I have only known the forum for several weeks... I would have loved to have known it "back then" and followed along :)

Hello , may I ask one more question about video surveillance? You are also in an exposed location, are there neighbors you could theoretically film? Your cameras are probably not fixed, but movable. Do you have a concept to prevent neighboring properties from being recorded? And would you show neighbors who do not want to be filmed the live images from the cameras? However, they would still have to trust you not to subsequently change the camera angle or to deactivate the software that masks the neighboring properties.

I only have one neighbor. He wanted me to monitor his property (which I do not do). Basically, you need to indicate video surveillance at the property entrance (signs...), you are not allowed to record public spaces or neighbors. We have multiple overlapping surveillance. Fixed and also swivel cameras. Normally it works like this: if a neighbor has questions, you show them a screenshot or live image. Either the camera is directed so that only your property is shown or it is masked out by software. Of course, he has to trust that nothing changes. In extreme cases (mostly involving court proceedings) there have been individual cases where a privacy screen/cover was ordered for the camera. However, I do not know of any private cases. Do you think about it in advance? Just wait and see how the neighbors react...
