There isn’t much new to see on the outside. Today, the colored top layer was applied in the office and guest room. The roofers are still hard at work and will probably finish the top roof this week. The HVAC team is busy welding and laying pipes for the heating. Outside, work is being done on the foundations for the enclosure. Today the cable connection, i.e. the socket and amplifier, finally arrived. The connection itself has been in place for a while. But how can they send the guys out with such a toy drill and bit… Do they only have customers with wooden houses??? We then quickly borrowed the big Hilti from the HVAC guys. But even the good Hilti SDS drill bit burned out. In total, it managed three holes (two bits broken plus his toy). But it holds anyway… In any case, I now have internet and immediately installed further cameras for the construction phase. The city finally also relocated one street lamp. Maybe I will have time tonight to upload a few pictures.

I have to ask. How did that go with you? And what did it cost? We still have to clarify that with the city as well.

I think we paid 3,500. Extension, construction including relocation, transport to and from. Transport doesn't apply to you. Additional costs for laying electricity may come. That was done with us right away because the electricity provider had to move their box. The sidewalk was open anyway.

It was informal for us. Small village and neighbors.

Conversations, application, etc., but overall not really problematic. We have done the civil engineering work. I don’t have the invoice yet, but it will probably cost between 3.5k and 4k plus the own work.

That means I’m probably roughly right with my estimated 4k according to the budget planning. Thank you all!

As promised, a few recent pictures.
Roof work on the topmost roof. Coating, elephant skin, insulation, sealing, sloping plates, double sealing are already underneath.

A couple of heating pipes. No plastic.

Nicely insulated internal drainage

Office. Still damp and actually a bit brighter in reality.

Hard walls and reinforcement have overwhelmed the material.

A few more heating pipes.

Guest room. Also still damp and actually a bit brighter in reality. A small bathroom will also be installed here. It will be built in drywall construction. That will also need to be painted.
