Bauhaus concrete villa with core insulation - experiences

Why not? What would you have done? This has already been discussed here. It is coated multiple times (one layer more than the manufacturer specifies). The other roof parts are greened. Partly heavily greened with lawn (garage roof). The roof itself is made of waterproof concrete. Nothing should get through there in our lifetime. Even during the shell construction, no water came in through the roof when it rained for more than a week.

why did you have the roof built with a waterproofing membrane??

I always think the same when I see the pictures. Do you send a cleaning crew through the house before every photo, or do you have a team of surgeons build the house? I've seen hospitals that were less tidy...

I rather think that they are good craftsmen..... Rule 1 = if you are going to be a good craftsman, then leave your workplace clean.

There has never been a cleaning crew in the house. recognized it correctly. Good craftsmen also clean up after their work. Of course, there is dirt, grime, and waste with us too, but it remains within reasonable limits. Since the floor construction was done now, sweeping was necessary. All the rubbish fit into two 10-liter buckets. There is also some trash lying around outside (like a few screws, wood, foil, etc.) However, I really cannot complain. I also place value on that. The roofer left a lot of cut-off pieces lying around. When he came to finish the pavilion, he disposed of everything after being reminded. Perhaps it is not only due to the craftsmen but also somewhat due to the construction method. We don’t have to chase grooves since empty conduits are everywhere...

As always very exciting! The floor isn't quite to my taste visually, but I think it feels good (at least that's how it sounds from the description).

And I can only agree: good craftsmen clean up. It was always tidy with us too, and I was impressed every time. I also know very different construction sites.

We currently have 6kwp - and are considering whether to expand. When the sauna heats up and I shove a roast into the oven pipe at the same time, while frying something on the stove and the extractor is running, our self-generated electricity is by far not enough.
Storage was/is still too expensive for the power you get. But a connection is planned.
If you, rick, say you had a good offer there - may I ask how much storage capacity, which manufacturer, and how much it cost?
