I know some houses that I am impressed by.
Size and (partly) price say nothing about quality, how well thought out and furnished it is. All the more admirable when it has been created with a lot of effort and personal work. That makes the “victory” taste even sweeter.

But I am certainly not "easy" to deal with, at least that's what my wife says.

What I always find impressive is that you seem to know every detail. Like how something is installed, what components are inside, what the advantages/disadvantages are, and you even talk about alternatives. Did you learn all this in personal conversations or do you work with it professionally? I hope that it stays that way even after your construction and that one can take something away from it.
