When buying, you get a crate of wine in the trunk, which was quite tasty. However, I am not a wine expert.
Alpina absolutely focuses on durability and long-term resilience. The Alpina engines or the entire package is basically how the AG should actually do it (everything a bit bigger and of higher quality). For example, with the D3/B3 you could completely empty the tank with almost 300 km and the car wouldn’t care. You can fully realize yourself in the interior, which goes far beyond customization. I would be quite cautious with the M3 there. The argument is basically that Alpina is generally not as obsessively aggressive as M, but can absolutely keep up in terms of performance. For those who like sound: You can (unfortunately) barely hear the D3, you hear the D5 a little, while the B's sound great. It's all about understatement and with the workshops, the M surcharge is also omitted. And there is the B7 and the "smaller" ones as station wagons, which you will look for in vain with M. And a 350 hp diesel station wagon with well under 7 liters average consumption is just nice.
