yes, we have also thought about such things. In all areas, concrete (appearance) would have been too much for my wife. I think we now have a good compromise.

I think so too.

I meant to do both in rooms that are limited by a mix of concrete and drywall walls in a partner look – but then to clad both in another place. So not overdosed with concrete look, but simply uniform per room.

The rooms where drywall and concrete walls meet are uniformly painted. The rooms with exposed concrete are also uniform. Only in the kitchen is there a wall that is painted. However, a large part of the wall is "covered". The color serves as a contrast to our "kitchen clock". The stairwell is one of the areas where the color concept has not yet been finalized.

Luckily, the Swiss made it across the border. I had been on the construction site since 6:30 a.m. to apply PU joints. At 7 a.m., the scaffolding builders arrived to begin the (partial) dismantling. At 7:30 a.m., the Swiss fitters were there. Today, they started removing the temporary windows in the areas where the glass is to be installed. The front door was already installed today. The system is simply a dream, and not only if you have some knowledge of metalworking. I hadn't even had the door in mind anymore. We had decided on it almost a year ago. It also comes from the glassmaker and is fully integrated into the system and made of glass (except for the safety-relevant areas). Very clean, no handles, etc. Currently, it is of course still protected. We couldn't install the second door from the garage to the house yet because it opens inward and the floor has not been sanded yet. Two connection details have raised questions. There is an appointment for that first thing tomorrow morning. We'll get that solved too... it just has to be done quickly.
