Hello Lump,
the supports will not be as massive as shown in the rendering. Whether they will be made of concrete or steel is still under discussion. Without supports, this is difficult to achieve. A free span of over 26 meters with a deflection of less than 0.5 cm (necessary because of the windows) was quickly ruled out...
Especially since we need higher ceiling loads on the upper floor.
We have looked at several houses. We like it. But we are aware that not everyone will like it. And that is legitimate.
The balcony and terrace railing shown in the rendering will also not be used as is, but will be a glass system.

Well, not mine at all, but it will definitely be great to live in. Maybe a bit spacious.

Due to the massive overbuilding of the glass surfaces, it will still be a dark cave in those areas - despite lots of glass. But of course, you can't have everything: rain-protected seating, sun protection for the house, and light inside the house...

My spontaneous thought was also: Why not add a (small) roof terrace at the very top of the green roof? At least a lookout or something similar would be nice. It obviously also depends on the view.

Hello montessalet,
understandably, I will not disclose exact costs.
Now to the dimensions.
Our pool is 20 meters long and 3.42 wide (wider than in the shown view). It has an increased water depth and it will also be an (infinity) overflow pool along the entire 20 meters.
Stainless steel is, as you correctly said, the luxury variant.
The cover alone at this length is expensive and with polycarbonate you can almost double the price.

Sealed with liner, including all pool technology, cover only made of PVC, no overflow pool, and WITHOUT all the concrete work, it would already be just under six figures.
Ours will cost more than twice that.

Depending on what and how much you can do yourself, it will be cheaper. Also, our pool dimensions are certainly not average.
A "normal" sized pool with good technology can be realized for well under 50k.
With steel wall pools, etc., it can be even cheaper. But this is not comparable.
The next point is whether and how you want to heat it...
Is your drainage sufficient to handle the backwashed water? (usually about 1m3 in 2-3 minutes)

If you have further questions, just get in touch.
Regards

Hello Otus11, there are sufficient free window surfaces. We have looked at the sun position simulations over a complete year. The roof of the upper floor will not be greened but will have a photovoltaic system installed (just under 10 kWp). It would also not be practical as a terrace. Long distances and so on. The view is good. We already have this from the entire upper floor. Due to the hillside location, the view is no problem anyway. We also already have more than enough terrace space. Most will use the ground-level terraces. The small terrace on the upper floor is only intended as an exit at the dressing room.

Why not? How anonymous do you still need it to be? I estimate around 2.5 million. More expensive projects have been planned here before.
