Thank you for the get-well wishes. It’s not fun. I always imagine how something should smell and taste. But I don’t drive myself crazy. I do think it will get better.

Not being able to smell or taste is hell - I got it because of nasal polyps. However, it did not happen overnight and was fluctuating from time to time (when the polyp was not lounging on the olfactory center but had changed its position, I could smell again for a short time). In 2019, I had a major nasal surgery, since then I can breathe well through my nose again and also smell again. But it took over half a year for the sense of smell to fully recover. Unfortunately, I still did not lose weight...

I wish you that it goes faster. It can also suddenly come back; that was the case with my best friend's sister-in-law. She was also without taste and smell due to corona, and then it was back overnight after recovery. She was very happy. I hope it works out like that for you too!

It's not entirely without risk either. You can't smell or taste when food has gone bad. Therefore, hopefully, it will get better soon.
