Swipe over the display glass of your phone and then over the exposed concrete. That is the difference. The ground and polished walls feel like smooth and clean glass.

The question is which look and feel you want to achieve. What I find so beautiful about concrete is its versatility. It can be both smooth like glass and textured like the formwork etc. Hard and brutal or shiny and fine.

I'm sure you already have the desired result exactly in mind

Best regards! mini

Concrete is super versatile. In my mind I have the desired outcome, whether it turns out that way in reality, we'll see.
Merry Christmas.

We are very satisfied with our concrete surfaces (ceilings and partly walls)! A small tip: Make sure that, for example, the plasterer and/or painter uses proper tape on the concrete surfaces (if necessary). We now have tape residues on the concrete. We hope that since the tape is/was grease-free, the residue is merely moisture and will no longer be visible in the near future, but you can now specifically point this out beforehand! Otherwise, as always: super cool "place"! Continued success!

Today, "quickly" primed 300m2 (ceiling and walls where no insulation will be installed) white in the garage. Tomorrow the topcoat will be applied. If there is enough time and motivation, possibly also prime one of the technical rooms and the storage room. Currently, there is hardly any installation inside, so not much masking is needed...

The plan worked
The garage received the top coat today and the technology and storage room are primed.
Since the question about the color comes up from time to time:
- Primer StoPrim Color white
- Top coat Sto Silco G AW15

Applied with Wagner PowerPainter 90. The primer about 2% diluted, the facade paint nearly 5% diluted.

Here's a (partial) picture with still wet paint:
