I can't tell you the alloy off the top of my head. But it sounds like your underfloor heating guy has no clue / experience with [Gußasphalt]. That's why he wants to do a classic approach. Get yourself a specialist and then there won't be any problems. Please keep in mind with [Gußasphalt] that everything that comes into contact with it must withstand at least 250°C. Grinding produces a lot of dust despite extraction. So do that above all else first, and then protect the floor...

Thank you. Quick question. What do you mean by "Also vor allem Anderen machen und dann den Boden schützen... "?

Normally, people prefer to do the ceiling and walls before the floor, as then the floor doesn't need to be protected so extensively. At 250°C, however, some paint and wallpaper might have problems...

Under no circumstances should the floor be sanded after filling, painting, etc. With the machines, you have to work right up to the edge. There are always some dents. The dust clings to the wall paint despite possible covering with foil. Floor-to-ceiling windows should also not yet be installed due to the heat. As far as planning and execution are concerned, cast asphalt is significantly more complex than traditional methods.

Thank you. May I ask one more thing: What is beneath your [Gussasphalt] and the [FHB]?

To level and cover, a layer of insulation material was applied. They are small beads. I don’t have the exact designation for you. This will then be covered and the underfloor heating will be installed on top. In the screed asphalt, the installation distances are also different (larger) because it conducts very well, is very elastic, and the underfloor heating is located in the final covering. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to hire a specialist who is familiar with this.
