OT: Welcome to the club. I also buried my mother when our house was completed. Before that, the whole family went through hell together for 2 years. Two years later, I can say it gets easier, but the old life never comes back. Strangely, I have had a very strange relationship with my house ever since. The huge anticipation turned into the opposite because of this stroke of fate, and the trauma somehow stuck to the house. Although everything is as planned, I can't really connect with it. I hope you don't feel the same.

to stay a bit off-topic. I'm sorry that a trauma remained. I do not struggle at all with the death of my father. It was a very intense time and I went through a lot with him. Still, the positive outweighs and so does the gratitude. Clearly, things are different now since one has more time and fewer / different worries. The joy about the house does not diminish it at all. I am grateful for the abundance of memories, but everyone processes something like this in their own way.

Hello, how much does roughly a square meter of concrete wall with cavity insulation cost?

Regards

depends. Rough estimate at about €240 net More detailed than that we are not, as there would have been problems with our special windows.

For a fair-faced concrete lover, concrete + core insulation + concrete is probably the dream. Here in Germany, however, it is hardly known... at least that's my impression.

If it were 240€ net all in (including weatherproof coating on the outside), then it would be cheap. The brick curtain facade alone costs around 300€ net per sqm...

No, it is without installation, coating, and the steel for insertion is also additional. For normal windows, it would have been our first choice.
