Hello everyone,
thank you very much for your opinions and comments.

Below are a few answers:
- The plot is located in a new development area within a traffic-calmed street
- No existing buildings, everything will be newly constructed
- The development plan does not require a ridge direction to be followed. We have already coordinated this with the building authority in advance.
- Unfortunately, no access is possible from the north due to the neighboring plot
- For alternative proposals, access from the south or east would be possible
- The garage is placed so far in the corner to have enough parking space in front of it
- Living room on the ground floor facing southwest
- Children's room on the upper floor facing southwest
- Kitchen on the ground floor facing northwest
- I have now adjusted the western property boundary; we have enlarged the plot compared to the first development plan

I have attached a sketch again for better understanding :-)

Regards
Ingo

I think it's good the way the house is situated. Then you can create a beautiful garden with different areas and have a nice sun terrace.

Hello,

I'm happy for you; although the ridge direction doesn't really matter with a WD anyway. I probably expressed myself incorrectly.

I have posted your own plan, marked with possible house positions of the left and upper neighbors. Did you also clarify in the preliminary discussion with the building authority whether you are allowed to deviate from one or another alignment? Especially development plans for new residential areas are often very restrictive in this regard.

Hello construction expert, I have understood your objection, we had already discussed this with the building authority before purchasing the plot, before we bought "this crooked dog" as a plot.

I assume that the arrangement of the houses in your sketch was related to the "alignment." We assume, however, that the neighbors will allow themselves more S-/W-garden...

Does anyone have a nice idea where the garage and house are connected?

Was this referring to my post? If so, I meant that the garage could be placed in the indentation of the property, with an access where the entrance is currently planned. In addition, a narrower, longer building in the north = garden in the south.

Overall, the question raised in the threads highlights the problem.

In a design, a building is planned based on the requirements of the client, the characteristics of the property, the surroundings, and legal and other framework conditions. Alternatively, one can also plan freely how one wants to live, but then a suitable property must also be found. Maybe a 50 [plot] fits, maybe it doesn’t. And the probability that a corner plot fits is rather low.

Regards
WD
