If you are not sauna fans and the thing is only being installed because a house of this size is supposed to have a sauna, I would honestly skip it.
Either I create a comfortable, beautiful, well-thought-out wellness area here (and I only do that if I actually use it) or I leave it.
Just building a sauna in the basement quickly, but designed in such a way that you never want to go in anyway because it’s too inconvenient, is nonsense. It rather looks like a sauna installed afterward in the basement of a single-family house as a DIY kit. And that doesn’t fit with such a house!
As it is now, it looks more like something attempted but not mastered. You really don’t need that.
The sauna of that size costs a good five-figure amount; for that money you could go to nice wellness baths/hotels for years including one night in the most expensive room. Since you’re not passionate sauna goers anyway, it will only happen a few times a year. Now do the math...
