My condolences as well! Life is finite and unpredictable. Mindfulness and enjoyment are a blessing and doable for everyone regardless of money.

Thank you for the condolences. Especially in recent years, I have gathered a wealth of memories, both positive and negative. Such a relationship can only arise through such extreme situations. The good thing is that we were able to say goodbye, spoke everything out and resolved it. The gratitude outweighs. That he will never enter our new house was already clear during the planning phase. But he experienced many other things (such as my wedding, his grandchildren...) even though everything was against it.

The house was not his style at all. He always said, "You might as well move into a slaughterhouse, it's so bare." But he was always interested. Two weeks ago we even drove past and he at least saw the retaining wall.

My condolences, Rick. I had to grin about the slaughterhouse, exactly that is what my father would have said about ours as well. So everything done right
