That cannot be the case. The procedure is (roughly) as follows:
1. Consultation/financing request
2. Review and credit approval
3. Application submission with confirmation of the application (BZA) at KfW + approval
4. Contract preparation
5. Signing by both parties
6. Disbursement

The bank advisor does not have to submit them anymore. He already *is* "the bank." Therefore, you also have legally valid contracts. Fulfill the conditions stated in the contract and have it paid out. If the Commerzbank completely messes up the necessary process (you are not allowed to conclude KfW contracts if there is no approval from KfW), then that is Commerzbank’s problem. If you want, you can send me the redacted contracts via PM.

If many builders are hit like this simultaneously, then something could actually happen that I wouldn't have thought possible this year anymore: A significant setback or possibly even a pause for the extreme price increases. Hard to believe…

Haback's approach is in no way justifiable. The failure clearly lies with the responsible officials and authorities who did not apply the brakes earlier. Especially since there is enough money. One would only need to distribute the funds accordingly. The state is also currently relieving companies through more short-time work than ever before. The billions are there as well.

One can debate the political purpose of the funding. But you cannot cancel the entire program overnight.

The planning and purchase of a house is a process in which you plan with the funding, but the commitments can only happen during the process.

We received our commitment for the grant last year, about 5 months after the start of the planning. We want to use it to pay for the garage and interior fittings.

Of course, up to now, developers have mainly benefited. But one would only need to change that the funding relates to the builder and not to the housing unit.

Thanks to the KFW 40 Plus funding, we decided on an insulated prefabricated wooden house with a photovoltaic system and not a brick house with a gas heating system.

If the government now wants to discourage owners of a plot of land from building an energy-efficient single-family house, then they should please start with the big air polluters!

UNBELIEVABLE! MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO ALL WHO HAVE JUST RECEIVED THIS BLOW IN THE FACE! Hopefully, the builders and construction companies are already mobilizing.

Well, many entities are now collapsing because they were calculated too tightly. Although I will probably get criticized again, I have seen this problem for almost 30 years now. Whether it's old depreciation methods, the homeownership allowance (which probably hardly anyone knows anymore), or the Baukindergeld. I have long preached that a project (whether house construction/financing or whatever) must be healthy. Subsidies are nice and all, but it must also work well without them...
