Your urgent emphasis is all well and good, but such statements don’t help anyone, not even with your exclamation mark. I think by now everyone has realized there is a war. Nevertheless, the world keeps turning and does not stand still, and if you have understanding for the silence, that is certainly due to your fortunate situation that you currently have the time to be able to let it slide. Still, there are people in Germany whose construction machinery could be standing outside their door, but who don’t know if they are allowed to do so or not. Or others who are unsure about what, how, and when they are allowed to sign. People who cannot enjoy your comfort zone. All of this, however, has nothing to do with the ongoing war or with the fact that I do not feel indescribable pity for these people—I want to say that very clearly with (my) exclamation mark! I donate clothes, mattresses, and money to these people and not only to them. I approach homeless people and listen to their fates, take them by the hand, and go eat with them. None of this is up for debate here (and I also don’t want this thread to drift into such a discussion), my point is simply that there are livelihoods in Germany at risk of collapse, and a statement would indeed provide some consolation, and such a statement certainly wouldn’t hurt anyone, even in the current situation. Therefore, I ask that such comments simply be left out, because just because I am interested in one topic does not mean I cannot have understanding for another.Once again, very clearly: There is a war! We are also affected, but fully understand that nothing will happen with the funding for now – there are currently more important geopolitical issues.
