Assuming you depreciate your house over 50 years – that would be €1,500 per year that you could/must now save at the purchase price. How much more energy would you actually consume annually in the standard compared to 40+? That is, in kWh AND in money? And how much more CO2 would that cost, and how expensive would the saved CO2 be per kg? Would it still look impressive then? And: couldn't you save significantly more CO2 for the money or – horrible to say – store it in a CO2 sink (he said "Jehowa":eek: ...)?We are now missing nearly €75,000 in financing. The only way to still manage the project will be to build the house at the absolute minimum standard with a gas boiler and without controlled residential ventilation.
