I submitted my application yesterday around 7 p.m. and have not received a response. My neighbor submitted his application for the second semi-detached house 3 hours earlier and immediately received confirmation.

After I submitted the application, I received this message: You can start now - but we recommend that you wait for our decision.

Does this mean that the application would still be approved?

No, that only means that awarding the contract for the construction or renovation work, as described in the application, would be possible. Of course, this does not mean that the application was approved.

However, I would assume that the decision is negative.

We were about to finalize our own home as kfw40EE and wanted to sign with the home builder and the bank this week. Really unfortunate. If it really takes 4 months until something new comes, then this delay is too long for us. We actually chose 40EE only because we couldn't meet the 55 deadline by the end of January. Now considering going back to 55 and saving the money.

It only concerns new applications. Old = You already have a contract = everything is fine

If the financing is already running, it was applied for and approved more than 6 months ago. So everything is fine.

Phew, bitterly honest, a disgrace. If mine hadn’t gone through, I would have canceled the purchase. With the 32k, you can expect 120k after interest maturity with normal ETF development.
