I initially believed that too, but I found in several sources that
"What will happen with already submitted but not yet approved funding applications for new buildings according to Standard 55 or 40 is unclear. That additional money will be provided for this is unlikely according to Habeck’s fundamental criticism."
I have seen other people who applied a week ago and did not receive the automatic confirmation, so they lost it. That is madness.
The grant is awarded completely arbitrarily and without any rules. It is pure luck whether you receive an automatic confirmation or not.
First of all: I don’t want to drive anyone crazy, but at least for the grant it states in the confirmation of receipt:
5. Further provisions These contract conditions are supplemented by the following documents:
Information sheet "BEG Residential Buildings - Grant" version 10/21 General terms and conditions (GTC) for grant products version 07/21. These documents are part of the grant contract and are therefore legally binding for your grant. Please read them carefully.
Excerpt from the information sheet:
Legal entitlement (see section 7.4 "Availability of budget funds" in the BEG WG guideline) There is generally no entitlement to funding. KfW decides based on due discretion within the available funds.
Status: 10/2021 (valid from 21.10.2021) • Order number: 600 000 4858
I simply cannot imagine that. Some here received an automatic approval immediately after submitting the application yesterday/the day before yesterday, and those who submitted the application 1-2 weeks ago, which was not automatically approved, are supposed to go empty-handed?
Certainly some will— and I will be among them— sue. That has nothing to do with fair allocation of funding anymore.
