I can only say that I would have loved to implement KFW40. If only for ecological reasons. Without funding, however, it is simply not feasible and I feel treated unfairly. Especially since I invested nearly €20,000 in planning and energy consultants.

You didn't actually want any quibbling over words? But all of this sounds very dramatic for a grant that is often repeated but isn't worth it anyway: "existences on the brink", "fates that are decided/have been decided", "slap in the face".

These are true words (from me), exactly, however, your post with the word "threatened" has no place in the current context... It is currently about the dissatisfaction that exists because of the current reasons and examples like the one from Schwabe23 show it too clearly.

The quote "slap in the face" fits very well here too, because that is exactly what it is for everyone who has been planning a 40-house for months and does not know what they are supposed to do or are allowed to do now.

What I find difficult is that there is no time frame for the resumption of KfW 40. At least that should be communicated. I can fully understand that nerves are frayed by now. Interest rates are rising, inflation is rising, and there are hardly any offers from craftsmen. Things are creaking at every corner.

I understand the frustration. Especially in these times, you want your piece of security - your own home - to work out the way you wish. But to conclude from the non-fulfillment of this wish that the government is incompetent and catastrophic is a bit over the top.
