KfW BEG funding stopped 261, 262, 263, 264, 461, 463, 464

I have a similar problem. I applied for a KFW-55 loan yesterday, but it was not approved.

Why was your application rejected? How can that be?

That could be discussed. For example, I don't know anyone who has built in the last 10 years without generous help from their parents or inheritance. Whether it was land or financial help. Or the condominium from study or early career times that was supported by the parents - even if just through guarantees. And this also applies to most of my friends who come from rather simple backgrounds or tradesman families.

My wife and I didn’t receive a single cent as a gift and are still building. On the contrary, we have already bought our currently self-occupied condominium without a single cent given as a gift and are also currently paying out of pocket for my wife’s further training to become a psychological psychotherapist without help from the state or anyone else.

We have far too few therapists in Germany and yet further training after 5-6 years of study is made nearly impossible with training costs of 40,000 EUR for 4 years and an average monthly income for practical work in the hospital of about 1,000 EUR per month. Well, another topic.

Actually, the energy saving ordinance standard should be just as quickly put on hold if an argument was the insufficiently ambitious funding. The point of the matter surely isn't that people now massively "downgrade." That the funding itself is being restructured is fundamentally understandable to me as well. But still totally poorly handled :-( That the funding is factored in is completely understandable from my point of view. Until now, it was also pretty secure. And with the current prices, the funding is already an important factor. And I also find it quite sudden when you consider that people have been waiting for years for the construction area in the municipality to finally be fully approved and advertised. And then, just at the last moment, the carrot is pulled away. I would also get pissed off...

Not rejected, but also not automatically approved.

I don't know according to which criteria the automatic approval takes place. My neighbor (the other semi-detached house) with the same specifications had his application approved yesterday, while mine got stuck.

I wonder if such an injustice is legal.

That is one of the points I also do not understand. That the Building Energy Act (formerly Energy Saving Ordinance) was not repealed and that funding for the 55 standard or better is still being paid.

Exactly, we are really working our asses off. We have now completed planning with our architect for just under €20,000 and are waiting for building approval. It was supposed to be a passive house (KFW40+) with a granny flat (a real apartment and not just to cash in on subsidies). We are still waiting for a few documents and then wanted to go to the bank. We are now missing just under €75,000 in financing. The only way to still manage the project will be to build the house to the absolute minimum standard with a gas boiler and without controlled residential ventilation. What is simply insane is, of course, that the new programs are not yet known. Announcing the end of the 55 subsidy at the end of November 21 for the end of January triggered a rush for this subsidy and left not enough time for meaningful replacement programs. Did anyone think the construction boom would slow down? You can only hold your head in your hands.
