We managed to submit our application for the 461 grant within 10 minutes yesterday. Today we received a rejection with the reason that the funding is only for new buildings in flood-prone areas. The KfW supposedly received thousands of such incorrect applications. Could this have been seen somewhere beforehand? As far as I know, this was not mentioned in the media reports.
Well, here I have to say that it was really very clearly stated on the KfW website, you really couldn't miss it, even the flood issue was clearly legible. But you can still try it, I would assume most people would do that ;) even if you might not have intended it.
What has made me very suspicious over the past two weeks, however, is that not a single editorial office in Germany picked up this brutal circumstance (and its far-reaching impact), although it was written so clearly.
The latter would surprise me due to the large number of experts involved, that's why I'm asking.
Could you name an example of the experts involved? None comes to my mind offhand ;)
