Sorry, but anyone who speculates on the stock market and doesn’t sell when prices have only been rising for two years either has enough money anyway or truly believed prices only go up.

This disguised schadenfreude is unfair. No one is happy when 30k simply vanishes into thin air. Or would you just shrug your shoulders if you suddenly missed 30k? If so, I have an account number for you, bring on the money ;-)

I can almost be glad to have built a single-family house with a granny flat as kfw40+. Including wallboxes, etc., the total funding amounted to around 75k. That is a very, very bitter pill for future builders. However, the approach of efficient subsidized existing building renovation is understandable. Perhaps the near future still lies more in a gas heating system with solar thermal support.

No schadenfreude. I get nothing out of that. By now you should know me well enough. I am just straightforwardly honest. Full agreement on this point. After my divorce, I myself have to struggle as a single person with my house and was very happy about the renovation subsidy.

You don't really believe that yourself. If 55 is going to become the standard, then 40 will at most be subsidized like the previous 55.

More like this... And I consider that realistic as well as sensible. Besides the renovation, which is also being pushed from Brussels (alongside a similar demand for new construction).
